HRLS/Dress for Success Holiday Donations Drive 2011

HR Legal Search is proud to be partnering with Dress for Success Austin for an in-kind holiday donation drive.  Dress for Success has assembled a special holiday wish list for us this year.  In addition to the usual new or gently used women’s professional attire and accessories needed, the list below includes items that you may have around your home or office or come across during your holiday shopping sprees, so please keep Dress for Success in mind as we share our blessings and gratitude this season.  HR Legal Search is happy to collect your donations at our offices, coordinate downtown office pick-ups if possible, or connect you with the organization for larger items, so please contact us if you would like to participate.

Dress for Success is a non-profit organization whose charitable mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.  We feel a strong bond with such a mission and its success positively affects all of us in the Austin community.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!

TMCP Wrap-Up

The 19th Annual Texas Minority Counsel Program is now in our rearview window and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Kathy and Joelle congratulate the State Bar of Texas Office of Minority Affairs and the rest of the TMCP Steering Committee on a job well done!  The business and social networking was a pleasure and fosters relationships that play out over months and years.  Austin enjoyed hosting this year and we look forward to the 20th Annual TMCP in Houston October 3-5, 2012.

The mission of the TMCP is to expand and increase the opportunities for minority and women attorneys to provide legal services for corporate and government clients, and to encourage corporations and government agencies seeking outside counsel to hire and retain minority and women lawyers.
